Description

A delicious blend of creamy and tart flavors, perfect for parties or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries and sugar over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. Let it cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Stir in the cooled cranberry mixture, nuts, green onions, vanilla extract, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Serve with crackers or sliced baguette. Enjoy!

Notes

Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. For a sweeter dip, add more sugar to the cranberry mixture. For extra crunch, toast the nuts before adding them.
