Description
A delicious blend of creamy and tart flavors, perfect for parties or gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries and sugar over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. Let it cool.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Stir in the cooled cranberry mixture, nuts, green onions, vanilla extract, and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve with crackers or sliced baguette. Enjoy!
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. For a sweeter dip, add more sugar to the cranberry mixture. For extra crunch, toast the nuts before adding them.
