- 225g cream cheese
- 100g sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 80g dried cranberries, chopped and divided
- 80g pecans, toasted and chopped, divided
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese using a mixer until it’s fluffy.
- Add in the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix until fully combined.
- Fold in the green onions, half of the chopped cranberries, and half of the toasted pecans. Stir gently.
- Use plastic wrap to shape the mixture into a ball and chill for at least one hour or overnight.
- Before serving, roll the cheese ball in the remaining cranberries and pecans.
- Serve with crackers, fresh fruit slices, or crostini.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for best mixing. Toasting the pecans enhances their flavor. Chill for optimal flavor melding.
