- 3 cups cooked turkey, shredded or chopped
- 1 box (6 oz) seasoned stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken or turkey broth
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 large eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley or chives for garnish
- Optional: turkey or chicken gravy for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the chopped onions and celery, sauté for about 5 minutes until they are softened.
- Prepare the stuffing mix according to the package directions, but use broth instead of water. Allow it to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine the prepared stuffing, cooked turkey, sautéed vegetables, dried cranberries, and beaten eggs. Mix everything until well combined.
- With your hands or a scoop, form the mixture into balls about the size of a golf ball.
- Place the stuffing balls on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy on the outside.
- Serve warm with gravy, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
