Description

A delightful dish combining tender pasta shells with a creamy beef sauce, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the beef broth and Italian seasoning, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer on low heat for another 5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Fold in the cooked pasta shells until well-coated with the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with extra Italian seasoning.

Notes

Use lean meat to reduce excess fat. Consider adding veggies for extra nutrition.
