Description

A delightful one-skillet meal featuring tender chicken, creamy sauce, and bold Cajun spices, served with fun-shaped bowtie pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts, seared and sliced
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the seared chicken and cook until golden brown.
  3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Reduce heat and add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, consider substituting half-and-half for the heavy cream or using gluten-free pasta. Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to taste.
