- 2 chicken breasts, seared and sliced
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the seared chicken and cook until golden brown.
- Stir in the Cajun seasoning and cook for another minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider substituting half-and-half for the heavy cream or using gluten-free pasta. Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to taste.
