Description
A rich, creamy chicken bacon ranch pasta loaded with flavor, cheese, and comfort. This one-skillet meal is perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends.
Ingredients
12 oz penne or rotini pasta
1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 strips thick-cut bacon, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 packet ranch seasoning (or 3 tbsp homemade)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ยฝ cup pasta water and drain.
2. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
3. In same skillet, add olive oil and cook seasoned chicken pieces until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. Melt butter in skillet. Sautรฉ garlic for 1 minute.
5. Add cream, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning. Stir until smooth.
6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until fully melted.
7. Return pasta, chicken, and half the bacon to the skillet. Toss to coat. Add pasta water if needed.
8. Top with remaining bacon and optional fresh herbs. Serve hot.
Notes
You can use rotisserie chicken for a quicker version.
Substitute pasta with zucchini noodles or cauliflower for a low-carb option.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
