- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash with butter, salt, and pepper.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 3-5 minutes until pink and opaque.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stir to combine, and add parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth.
- Serve shrimp in the creamy sauce over mashed potatoes and garnish with parsley.
Notes
For additional flavor, feel free to add a dash of lemon juice or hot sauce to the shrimp.
