Description

A delightful dish combining the soft texture of gnocchi with creamy sauce and tangy feta, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound gnocchi
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float to the top. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, allowing it to thicken slightly.
  5. Add the cooked gnocchi and crumbled feta cheese, stirring gently to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Use fresh gnocchi for the best texture. Add a splash of lemon juice for brightness if the dish feels too rich.
