- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced for garnish

Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving drippings in the pot.
- Add olive oil to the drippings, then stir in the ground beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside with the bacon.
- Add diced onions and minced garlic to the pot, sautรฉ until onions are translucent (3-4 minutes).
- Sprinkle in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly browned.
- Gradually pour in the chicken broth, stirring to prevent lumps; bring to a simmer.
- Add diced potatoes, salt, black pepper, paprika, mustard powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until potatoes are tender (15-20 minutes).
- Return ground beef to the pot, add heavy cream and shredded cheddar, stirring until cheese melts.
- Mix in crispy bacon and sour cream; adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions, chopped pickles if desired, and reserved bacon.
