Description
A comforting and flavorful one-pot dish featuring tender chicken, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, and zesty Cajun seasoning, perfect for weeknights or gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from the pot and slice into strips.
- Add minced garlic to the same pot and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Toss in the linguine pasta, heavy cream, and enough water to cover the pasta. Bring to a boil before reducing to a simmer.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, around 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until al dente.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return the sliced chicken to the pot, tossing everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve topped with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add more Cajun seasoning or red pepper flakes. Substitute chicken with tofu for a vegan option.
