Description

A comforting and flavorful one-pot dish featuring tender chicken, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, and zesty Cajun seasoning, perfect for weeknights or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
  2. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from the pot and slice into strips.
  3. Add minced garlic to the same pot and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Toss in the linguine pasta, heavy cream, and enough water to cover the pasta. Bring to a boil before reducing to a simmer.
  5. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, around 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until al dente.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Return the sliced chicken to the pot, tossing everything together until well combined and heated through.
  8. Serve topped with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add more Cajun seasoning or red pepper flakes. Substitute chicken with tofu for a vegan option.
