- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook until al dente. Drain, reserving about ½ cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, crumble the ground beef and cook until fully browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Reduce heat to medium, add butter, and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring consistently, and let simmer for 3-5 minutes. Stir in grated Parmesan until melted smoothly.
- Combine cooked bowtie pasta with the creamy mixture, adding reserved pasta water gradually until desired sauce thickness. Season with salt and black pepper, then garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm.
Notes
Serve with a light salad or garlic bread and a glass of white wine for a complete meal. Can be made ahead and stored for easy reheating.
