Description

An indulgent creamy pasta dish featuring sweet peas and crispy pancetta, perfect for cozy dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
  • 1 cup sweet peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 ounces pancetta, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced pancetta and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the sweet peas and heat through.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For better flavor, use fresh sweet peas and watch the pancetta closely to avoid overcooking.
