Description

A comforting dish of creamy pasta laced with savory pancetta and sweet peas, perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces pasta (fettuccine or your choice)
  • 4 ounces pancetta, diced
  • 1 cup peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced pancetta and cook until crispy.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the peas and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
  7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Cook for another minute until the sauce thickens slightly.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Consider using fettuccine or tagliatelle for the best sauce adherence. Adjust seasoning to taste as pancetta can be salty.
