  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons peri-peri sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
  4. Pour in chicken stock, heavy cream, peri-peri sauce, and lemon juice; stir and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Return the seared chicken to the skillet, reduce heat, and simmer for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve the chicken over rice, topped with the creamy sauce and garnished with parsley.
