Description

A delightful dish featuring tender fettuccine, flaky salmon, and a luscious cream sauce, perfect for both cozy family dinners and elegant gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill or parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and season the salmon with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and flaky. Remove and flake into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds, then pour in heavy cream and let it simmer gently.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and grated parmesan until the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add the fettuccine and flaked salmon to the skillet, tossing gently to coat. Sprinkle with fresh dill or parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with a crisp salad and a glass of white wine for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for longer storage.
