Description

A comforting dish featuring tender sirloin steak and cheesy tortellini in a rich Parmesan cream sauce, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb tender sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz cheese tortellini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites, season with salt and pepper, and sear until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the tortellini according to package instructions and drain.
  5. Add the cooked tortellini and seared steak back to the skillet, tossing to combine and coat in the sauce.
  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer for optimal steak doneness and avoid overcrowding the skillet while searing.
