- 1 lb frozen or homemade meatballs, fully cooked
- 4 cups mashed potatoes (freshly made or leftovers)
- 1½ cups brown gravy (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley or green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread mashed potatoes evenly in the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Place cooked meatballs evenly over the mashed potatoes.
- Drizzle brown gravy over the meatballs and potatoes.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions before serving.
Notes
For creamier mashed potatoes, add milk and butter before spreading. Use quality gravy for the best flavor.
