Description
Golden, crunchy salmon bites coated in a sweet-spicy Bang Bang sauce. Perfect for appetizers, parties, or quick dinners.
Ingredients
1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed and cubed
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp sriracha
1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
Cooking oil for frying or air frying
Chopped green onions, cilantro, and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
1. Pat salmon cubes dry and season with salt and pepper.
2. Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and panko breadcrumbs in a third.
3. Coat salmon in flour, dip in egg, and roll in breadcrumbs, pressing lightly.
4. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high or preheat air fryer to 400°F.
5. Cook salmon bites 2–3 minutes per side in skillet, or 7–9 minutes in air fryer, turning halfway.
6. Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice to make Bang Bang sauce.
7. Toss salmon bites lightly in sauce or serve sauce on the side.
8. Garnish with green onions, cilantro, and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For gluten-free, swap regular flour for rice flour and use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
Adjust sriracha to your spice preference.
Best served immediately for maximum crispiness.
