Description

Delightfully crunchy fries infused with garlic and Parmesan cheese, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium Russet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and peel the Russet potatoes, then cut them into even strips about half an inch thick.
  3. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Drain and thoroughly dry the soaked potatoes with paper towels.
  5. Toss the dried potatoes with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well-coated.
  6. Spread the fries in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Once golden brown, remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese while hot.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes or adjust garlic to your taste.
