Ingredients

- 1 block firm tofu
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 avocado
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Press the tofu by wrapping it in a towel and placing a heavy object on top for 15-20 minutes.
- Cut the pressed tofu into cubes and marinate in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet and cook the marinated tofu until crispy, about 10-15 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame seeds, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Mash the avocado and mix with the cooked rice.
- Layer the avocado rice and crispy tofu in a mold to form a stack. Drizzle with soy sauce mixture.
- Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
Use firm tofu for best results, and feel free to experiment with different rice types.
