Description

A creamy and savory beef stroganoff made effortlessly in a crock pot, perfect for family dinners or entertaining friends.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (cut into strips)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 cups mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • Sour cream (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In the Crock Pot, combine the beef strips, chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
  4. Stir in sour cream into the beef mixture in the Crock Pot before serving.
  5. Serve over egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, add a cornstarch slurry 30 minutes before serving. Customize using different mushrooms for richer flavor.
