- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

- Layer the Ingredients: In your crock pot, layer the diced potatoes at the bottom, sprinkle ranch seasoning over them, and add shredded cheese and crumbled bacon on top.
- Add the Broth: Pour the chicken or vegetable broth over the layered ingredients until fully covered.
- Cooking Time: Set your crock pot to low and cook for 7-8 hours or high for 4 hours until potatoes are tender.
- Finish and Blend: Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to taste. For a smoother consistency, use an immersion blender briefly.
