Description

Delicious and comforting meatballs infused with the rich flavors of French onion soup and topped with melted Swiss cheese, perfect for family dinners or game days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) French onion soup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs and place in the crock pot.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the French onion soup and soy sauce together. Pour over the meatballs in the crock pot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes, sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese on top and cover until melted.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the ground beef in Worcestershire sauce for 30 minutes before mixing. Customize by adding fresh herbs or different cheeses.
