Description

This easy pulled chicken balances sweet and savory flavors, making it perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings with friends and family.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/4 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup Light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder
  • Salt To taste
  • Black pepper To taste

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of a large crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, placing them at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Mix barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, light brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce until combined in a bowl.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
  5. Cook on high for 150-180 minutes or on low for 300-360 minutes.
  6. Shred the chicken in the crockpot and serve it as desired.

Notes

For optimal tenderness, use the low setting for a longer cook time. Experiment with spices in your sauce for added kick.
