Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cooked pasta (like penne or fusilli)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Add chicken broth, diced tomatoes, heavy cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is fully cooked.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, shred the chicken in the pot and stir in the cooked pasta and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
