Description

A warm, creamy dish with tender chicken and flavorful garlic Parmesan sauce, cooked perfectly in a crockpot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot, spread out evenly.
  2. Add the garlic, chicken broth, salt, and pepper on top of the chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks.
  5. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the crockpot, stirring to combine.
  6. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and shredded chicken back into the crockpot and mix well.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Consider using organic chicken for better flavor. Adjust saltiness using low-sodium chicken broth. Be careful not to overcook pasta before adding it to the crockpot.
