Description
A cozy, satisfying meal that combines the heartiness of lasagna with the convenience of a slow cooker, featuring layers of savory ground beef, zesty pasta sauce, and a mix of melted cheeses.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, draining excess fat.
- Stir in the pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- In a greased slow cooker, spread a thin layer of meat sauce as a base and layer half of the frozen ravioli over it.
- Top with half of the remaining meat sauce and half of each cheese. Repeat layers, finishing with a generous layer of cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours until hot and bubbly, and cheese is melted.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Customize cheese selection with options like provolone or spicy pepper jack. For a vegan option, substitute ground beef with lentils and use dairy-free cheese. Adjust spices based on preference.
