Description

A classic appetizer that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser, featuring creamy, tangy flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 3 tablespoons sweet relish
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the Eggs: Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cover and remove from heat; let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool and Peel: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for quick cooling. Peel under running water for easier removal.
  3. Create the Filling: Halve the peeled eggs lengthwise and scoop out yolks into a bowl. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and relish until smooth.
  4. Fill Egg Whites: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the egg whites until heaped.
  5. Garnish: Sprinkle paprika on top; add fresh herbs if desired.
  6. Serve: Arrange on a platter and enjoy chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Use fresh eggs for easier peeling. For added flavor, try using different mustards or adding a dash of hot sauce.
