Description
A delicious glazed ham perfect for your Easter dinner, combining sweet and savory flavors for a delightful centerpiece.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 glazed ham (about 5–7 pounds)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon ground cloves
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, and ground cloves. Stir until smooth and bubbly.
- Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
- Brush the glaze over the ham and reserve some for basting.
- Cover loosely with foil and roast for about 1 hour. Remove foil and baste every 15 minutes until caramelized, about another 30 minutes.
- Once the ham reaches 140°F (60°C), let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Choose bone-in ham for more flavor. Let the ham rest before slicing to retain juices.
