Description
A creamy and cheesy slow-cooked chicken dish seasoned with ranch, perfect for parties or casual dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker, ensuring they are evenly spread out.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix generously over the chicken to coat it well.
- Add the cream cheese on top of the chicken. It will melt down and create a creamy sauce as it cooks.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shreds.
- Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken in the slow cooker and mix it with the cream cheese and ranch seasoning.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until everything is combined and creamy.
- Serve in a sandwich, over rice, or as a dip, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with chickpeas and cream cheese with a dairy-free alternative.
