Description

A creamy and cheesy slow-cooked chicken dish seasoned with ranch, perfect for parties or casual dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker, ensuring they are evenly spread out.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix generously over the chicken to coat it well.
  3. Add the cream cheese on top of the chicken. It will melt down and create a creamy sauce as it cooks.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shreds.
  5. Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken in the slow cooker and mix it with the cream cheese and ranch seasoning.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until everything is combined and creamy.
  7. Serve in a sandwich, over rice, or as a dip, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with chickpeas and cream cheese with a dairy-free alternative.
