Description

A comforting casserole with a warm, creamy filling brimming with chicken and colorful vegetables, topped with a fluffy biscuit crust.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Prepare the baking dish by greasing a 9×13 inch dish and pouring in the chicken mixture.
  4. Mix the biscuit mix according to package directions in a separate bowl.
  5. Assemble the casserole by spreading the biscuit mixture over the chicken mixture.
  6. Add the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the biscuit layer.
  7. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Consider using leftover rotisserie chicken for added flavor. Adjust seasonings to your liking.
