Description

This easy hot honey feta chicken recipe combines juicy chicken with creamy feta cheese, all drizzled with a sweet and spicy honey glaze for a flavorful and satisfying dish.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless (skinless) chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • For the Hot Honey Glaze:
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over each chicken breast.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  9. While the chicken is baking, prepare the hot honey glaze by combining honey, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until well blended.
  10. Once the chicken is done, drizzle the hot honey glaze over the top.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, use tofu or cauliflower instead of chicken. Adjust the spice level of the glaze to your liking.
