Description
Celebrate with vibrant red, white, and blue lollipops that are a fun and delicious treat for Independence Day and Memorial Day.
Ingredients

- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon Flavored candy oils (strawberry, blueberry)
- Food coloring (red, blue) as needed
- 10 Wooden sticks
Instructions
- Prepare the lollipop molds by lightly greasing them with non-stick spray.
- Combine sugar, water, and light corn syrup in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until dissolved, then bring to 300°F using a candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in candy oils and food coloring. Divide the mixture into three bowls for red, blue, and clear mixtures.
- Pour the clear mixture into molds first, then layer in the red and blue mixtures. Insert wooden sticks and let cool and harden completely.
- Once set, remove from molds and store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
Notes
Use a candy thermometer for accurate results and work quickly with the candy mixture to achieve the best texture.
