- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- Cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about an inch in diameter, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Flatten the balls slightly with the bottom of a glass.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, chill the dough if it feels sticky and use parchment paper for baking.
