- 1/4 cup sugar

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup dried fruits (such as raisins, cranberries, or apricots)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla to the yeast mixture and mix thoroughly.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Fold in dried fruits and nuts.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Punch down the risen dough and shape into a loaf, then place in a greased loaf pan.
- Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before slicing.
