Description
A comforting bowl of Fiery Chicken Ramen features a spicy kick of chili, tender chicken, and a rich, creamy garlic sauce, perfect for a cozy night in.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 packs ramen noodles (fresh or dried)
- 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional, for extra heat)
Instructions
- Season the chicken with chili powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate for 15 minutes to soak in those spicy flavors.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the marinated chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, set it aside to rest.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in butter until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream, combining until it becomes smooth and creamy.
- Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.
- In a pot, heat sesame oil and sauté garlic until aromatic. Add chicken broth and more cream, letting it simmer for 5 minutes.
- In individual bowls, place cooked noodles, then pour the hot broth over them. Slice the chicken and lay it on top, drizzle some creamy garlic sauce, and garnish with green onions and a dash of chili oil for heat.
Notes
Marinating enhances flavor; use fresh noodles for better texture; avoid overcooking the noodles.
