- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

- Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until the butter melts.

- Add the Green Beans: Add the green beans, seasoning with salt and pepper, and stir to combine.
- Cover to Cook: Cover the skillet and let the green beans steam for around 5-7 minutes.
- Finish with Butter and Lemon: Remove the lid, add the final tablespoon of butter, stir until melted, and add lemon juice.
- Serve: Transfer the green beans and mushrooms to a serving dish and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
Ensure the beans stay tender yet crisp by monitoring the cooking time. Feel free to substitute with plant-based butter for a vegan version.
