- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak bites to the skillet in a single layer and sear for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and melt. Toss in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add zucchini, cooking for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the steak to the skillet and toss everything to coat in garlic butter. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
