- 2 Juicy seared steaks
- 4 Sliced potatoes
- 3 Cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Sear them in a hot skillet with olive oil and garlic butter until nicely browned.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish, seasoning them with salt and pepper.
- Place the seared steaks on top of the seasoned potatoes.
- Pour melted garlic butter over both the potatoes and steaks, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, choose tender cuts of steak like ribeye or sirloin. Don’t overcook the steaks, as they will continue to cook in the oven.
