Description

A comforting dish that combines juicy steak with creamy, cheesy potatoes, all topped with rich garlic butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Juicy seared steaks
  • 4 Sliced potatoes
  • 3 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Sear them in a hot skillet with olive oil and garlic butter until nicely browned.
  3. Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish, seasoning them with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the seared steaks on top of the seasoned potatoes.
  5. Pour melted garlic butter over both the potatoes and steaks, then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, choose tender cuts of steak like ribeye or sirloin. Don’t overcook the steaks, as they will continue to cook in the oven.
