Description

Indulge in a rich, tender ribeye steak seared to perfection and topped with a creamy, cheesy Parmesan sauce, perfect for special occasions or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of butter and melt.
  3. Add the seasoned steaks and cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes on one side.
  4. Flip the steaks, add remaining butter and minced garlic, cooking for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
  5. Remove steaks from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Lower heat to medium, pour in heavy cream, whisk to scrape up browned bits from the skillet.
  7. Add grated Parmesan cheese, whisk until sauce thickens (about 3-4 minutes), and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Slice steaks, plate, and drizzle creamy sauce on top, garnishing with parsley.

Notes

For best results, use a cast-iron skillet for searing the steak.
