- 4 pieces ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)

- to taste pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of butter and melt.
- Add the seasoned steaks and cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes on one side.
- Flip the steaks, add remaining butter and minced garlic, cooking for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
- Remove steaks from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Lower heat to medium, pour in heavy cream, whisk to scrape up browned bits from the skillet.
- Add grated Parmesan cheese, whisk until sauce thickens (about 3-4 minutes), and season with salt and pepper.
- Slice steaks, plate, and drizzle creamy sauce on top, garnishing with parsley.
Notes
For best results, use a cast-iron skillet for searing the steak.
