- 4 pieces ribeye steaks (About 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
- To taste: salt
- To taste: pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, and add the steaks. Cook for 4-5 minutes until browned.
- Flip the steaks, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
- Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and whisk in the heavy cream to collect any browned bits.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes. Adjust seasoning.
- Slice the steaks and drizzle with the creamy Parmesan sauce. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, use a meat thermometer and allow the steak to rest before cutting.
