Description

A sumptuous Garlic Butter Steak with a rich Parmesan cream sauce that elevates any occasion, perfect for cozy dinners or celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces ribeye steaks (About 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
  • To taste: salt
  • To taste: pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, and add the steaks. Cook for 4-5 minutes until browned.
  3. Flip the steaks, add the remaining butter and minced garlic, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare.
  4. Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and whisk in the heavy cream to collect any browned bits.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes. Adjust seasoning.
  7. Slice the steaks and drizzle with the creamy Parmesan sauce. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, use a meat thermometer and allow the steak to rest before cutting.
