Description

A golden, crispy Garlic Parmesan Crusted Halibut recipe made with fresh garlic, parmesan, and panko breadcrumbs. Easy, flavorful, and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

4 halibut fillets (6 oz each)

1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp parsley, chopped

1 tsp lemon zest

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tbsp mayonnaise or olive oil (for binding)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Pat halibut fillets dry and brush lightly with olive oil or mayonnaise.

3. In a bowl, mix parmesan, panko, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, paprika, salt, and olive oil until crumbly.

4. Firmly press mixture onto the top of each fillet.

5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until fish flakes easily and crust is golden. Broil for 2 minutes if needed.

6. Serve hot with lemon wedges and fresh herbs.

Notes

For keto: use almond flour instead of panko.

For gluten-free: use gluten-free breadcrumbs.

For dairy-free: replace parmesan with nutritional yeast.

Best served with roasted asparagus, potatoes, or a fresh salad.
