- 20 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- Salt, to taste

- Garlic powder, to taste
- Smoked paprika, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
- Parsley, chopped (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cracked black pepper (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add cheese tortellini and cook until they float to the top. Drain and set aside.
- Season and Cook the Steak: Season steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear steak for 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove and let rest before slicing.
- Make the Creamhouse Sauce: In the same skillet, lower heat and add butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and whole milk, stirring well. Bring to a simmer and add parmesan cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Combine: Toss cooked tortellini and steak pieces in the skillet with the sauce, mixing thoroughly until well-coated.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, and cracked black pepper before serving.
Notes
For best results, serve in a large, shallow bowl with a side of garlic bread or a light salad. Pair with white wine or a light-bodied red for an elevated experience.
