- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 1 bunch asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon corn starch (optional for thickening)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the ginger and garlic, sautéing for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the asparagus and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- Mix the soy sauce and corn starch (if using) in a small bowl, then pour over the stir fry.
- Stir well to coat everything and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute soy sauce with tamari.
