Description
A delicious, hearty grilled steak bowl with juicy steak, tender zucchini, and a creamy herb sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked rice or quinoa
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, or dill)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Toss the sliced zucchini with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill for about 2-3 minutes until tender but slightly crunchy.
- In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, fresh herbs, lemon juice, and minced garlic for the herb sauce.
- Assemble the bowl with a base of cooked rice or quinoa, top with sliced grilled steak, grilled zucchini, and drizzle the herb sauce over the top.
Notes
Quality of steak matters; ribeye is fattier and more flavorful, while sirloin is leaner. Resting the steak is crucial for juiciness. Adjust herbs in the sauce to your liking.
