Description

A delightful Hawaiian dish featuring succulent shrimp with rich garlic flavor and a touch of honey, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and honey, then pour it over the shrimp in the skillet.
  5. Stir to coat the shrimp in the sauce and let it cook for another minute.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from heat, add the remaining butter, and let it melt for a rich flavor.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Fresh shrimp provides the best flavor. Consider marinating shrimp in soy sauce mixture before cooking for deeper taste.
