Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls, sliced in half
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 slices of cooked bacon or sausage patties
  • 8 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives (optional)

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add butter, and pour in the egg mixture. Cook until just set.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and honey.
  5. Lay the bottom halves of the Hawaiian rolls in a baking dish, spread the mayonnaise mixture, and layer with bacon or sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese.
  6. Cover with the top halves of the rolls, then cover with foil and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chives if using, and serve immediately.
