- 12 Hawaiian rolls, sliced in half
- 8 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 12 slices of cooked bacon or sausage patties
- 8 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add butter, and pour in the egg mixture. Cook until just set.
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and honey.
- Lay the bottom halves of the Hawaiian rolls in a baking dish, spread the mayonnaise mixture, and layer with bacon or sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese.
- Cover with the top halves of the rolls, then cover with foil and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with chives if using, and serve immediately.
