Description

Delightful turkey meatballs with a unique blend of savory and sweet flavors thanks to the addition of apple cider.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, apple cider, breadcrumbs, grated onion, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, cinnamon, salt, and pepper; mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your healthy twist on turkey meatballs!

Notes

Using fresh ingredients enhances flavor; avoid overmixing the meat for tender meatballs.
