Description

A delightful dish that combines succulent shrimp with a sweet and savory honey garlic glaze, quick and easy to make, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. Clean the shrimp, removing the shell and deveining them if necessary.
  2. Mince the garlic finely.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the shrimp, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  6. Pour in the honey and soy sauce mixture, stirring to coat the shrimp evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Serve warm over rice or with fresh vegetables.

Notes

Always use fresh or high-quality frozen shrimp for the best flavor and texture. Adjust the honey based on your sweetness preference.
