Description

A delightful balance of sweet and savory flavors with tender shrimp coated in a glossy honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve over steamed rice or with your favorite vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. This can also be made gluten-free using tamari instead of soy sauce.
