- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or vegetables for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve over steamed rice or with your favorite vegetables.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. This can also be made gluten-free using tamari instead of soy sauce.
